$1 Million Fundraising Goal Set for Valentine’s Ball to Help New Jersey Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders

Star-studded event to include: Victor Cruz of the New York Giants; Antonio Cromartie of the New York Jets; Sean Avery, former New York Ranger; Melissa Gorga of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey;” and Brian Leonard of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

FORT LEE, N.J. – CareOne LLC Chief Executive Officer Daniel E. Straus has set a $1 million fundraising goal for CareOne’s Wednesday Feb. 12, 2014 Valentine’s Ball. The evening fundraising gala is in support of The Valerie Fund and the thousands of New Jersey children with cancer and blood disorders for whom it provides care.

The Valerie Fund, established in 1976 in memory of Valerie Goldstein by her parents, Ed and Sue Goldstein, provides support for the comprehensive healthcare of New Jersey children with cancer and blood disorders at seven New Jersey Valerie Fund Children’s Centers.
