Press Release – Washington, DC: carafem, often referred to as the “bold and outspoken” abortion provider with locations in DC, Atlanta, and Chicago, is proud to launch a new outdoor advertising and digital video campaign supporting every person’s right to choose. The campaign features bold, pink ads found in high-traffic areas of Washington, D.C., and Chicago, Illinois. The ‘I Choose’ video will be promoted in all markets with a carafem health center through digital platforms and social media.
During this time when policymakers are working to place increasingly restrictive laws that aim to put abortion out of reach, carafem is speaking out about the importance of people being able to decide what is best for them and their medical care. The new billboards display a message stating, “I choose if, and when, I’ll have children” with strong, confident imagery, and the unapologetically bold tagline, “Abortion. Yeah, we do that.” followed by “Birth Control. We do that too.”
“With the current political landscape, people are worried about whether or not they’ll be able to make their own personal decisions about abortion and birth control in the future.” says Melissa Grant, COO of carafem. “This ad campaign intends to reassure them and remind others that abortion is a legal choice that is best made when a woman has access to accurate medical information and is able to consider all options available to her.”
