Press Release – July 17, 2018, New Jersey – Shop and support good nights for good days for children. Pajama Program and vineyard vines have once again teamed up to support children and teens experiencing instability by promoting a comforting bedtime routine so that they can thrive.

On July 19, 2018, vineyard vines will host fundraising events in select stores nationwide, including the New Jersey stores located at The Grove at Shrewsbury, Matt at Short Hills, and Garden State Plaza (5 p.m.-7 p.m.).

The clothing retailer will donate 10% of all in-store purchases to Pajama Program plus shoppers will received 10% off their purchase.

Pajama Program promotes and supports a comforting bedtime routine for children affected by instability so that they can thrive. The organization advocates for the good night rights of children nationwide by serving those in the foster care system, residing in shelters and group homes waiting to be adopted, and those in unstable situations, giving them the magical gifts of new pajamas and storybooks to support them at bedtime, and welcoming children to participate in various programs at Pajama Program reading centers with caring volunteers.

“Support and donations throughout the summer are crucial to Pajama Program. Most shelters across the country experience an increase during the summer months and children are especially in need of a comforting bedtime routine since school is out. We’re thrilled to have the support of vineyard vines again this summer. With their help, we can provide the children and teens we serve with the tools necessary for a comforting, peaceful night’s rest to help them reach their potential the next day,” said Jamie Dyce, Pajama Program’s Executive Director.

To date, Pajama Program has collected and distributed over 6 million pairs of new pajamas and books across the United States but there’s more work to be done, and more good nights and good days to be fulfilled.
