Abre and High AIMS Partner to Allow Member School Districts to Better Collaborate, Share Resources to Drive Greater Innovation in Education

Press Release – Cincinnati – February 26, 2019 – Leading education management platform provider Abre.io Inc. and High AIMS, a local consortium of school districts, announced today a partnership that will foster collaboration among educators and school member districts.

High AIMS is a nonprofit consortium dedicated to cultivating leadership, promoting collaboration, and sustaining innovative education processes. With 30 participating school districts in Southwest and Middle Ohio, High AIMS drives quality professional development and conversations with innovative educators.

With the partnership, Abre serves as the education platform for delivering a framework to collaborate and share resources in a way that is efficient and enjoyable to the educator.

For example, member districts decide to collaborate on curriculum maps. Using Abre, they will share these curriculum maps with each other. Districts can share, develop, and iterate curriculum, education plans, forms, and workflows. Best practices can be utilized, and time saved through the collective wisdom of the consortium.

“High AIMS school districts are thrilled to be partnering with Abre to expedite a system that allows school districts to share best practices and authentic learning experiences.” said Kelly Spivey, Executive Director of High AIMS.

High AIMS districts that use Abre can easily take advantage of the sharing and collaboration capabilities. High AIMS districts that have not adopted Abre will use a special instance of Abre implemented for High AIMS to enable creating, using, and sharing content.

“We are incredibly excited to provide our education management platform to High AIMs,” said Zach Vander Veen, Co-founder and VP of Instruction at Abre. “Their mission and vision to enable educators across schools and districts to share and collaborate aligns with ours. We are exceptionally impressed with the way member districts leverage Abre to support solid pedagogy.”

About High AIMS

High AIMS was established in 1998 by a group of six public school districts in the Cincinnati metropolitan area that were committed to leveraging their resources to impact student achievement across the boundaries of community. Over the years, the consortium has grown to include a diverse group of 30 southwestern Ohio public school districts located in Butler, Hamilton, Warren, and Montgomery counties. Each has embraced the High AIMS Vision of “creating a network of leaders who inspire students and one another to be engaged, high performing learners.”
